Every year I vow that, "it won't get me," but I continue to make lists and budgets and highfives when I think of a A+ gift idea.
BUT WAIT, I might actually have a travel plan that works this year.
In November, I'll be flying home for a short weekend visit with my folks so that when December comes, I'm not sick with guilt that I haven't seen them in x months. Also, Brian's parents are coming out here in the middle of the month. They're missing Thanksgiving, but we love to spend that holiday with friends- usually eating way to much at Ben and Stacy's. Friendsgiving really steals my heart away, my friends really are my family.
But back to traveling up north, down south, and everywhere else I feel I should spread holiday cheer, we'll probably spend those magical days between Christmas and NYE in Minnesota with Brian's parents, sister, brother-in-law, and the cutest one and half year old in town, Big J.
So where does that leave momma and poppa Steele= week long adventure in Arkansas. A chance to see my parents for more that 72 hours? Get outta town.
How am I gonna pay for all these travel expenses? Easy, holiday help.
OH hello retail- you're a new horizon I haven't crossed...
